African Country Research Paper Guidelines

1. This paper must be 4-5 pages typewritten, double spaced.
2. You must at least 5 different sources, NONE OF WHICH CAN BE WIKIPEDIA.
3. Here is the theme of your paper:

"What makes _______________ important?"


These are the things you should talk about while determining your answer.

A. History of the nation
B. Ethnic make-up and primary languages that are spoken
C. Religious Make-up
D. What is the geography like? Major geographic features? What is the climate like?
E. What kind of government does the country have? Democracy? Dicatorship? Communist? Etc?
F. What events have occurred inside your country that have affected world events?


Please do not say, "Nothing." There are countless things you could say for each country, no matter how poor the nation or technologically backward. Each culture has something to offer.

THIS PAPER IS DUE ON THE LAST CLASS IN FEBRUARY AND IT WILL BE WORTH 120 points.
